   Historically Speaking...

Quite late in the 1999 diving season we decided that instead of just talking about diving we should perhaps actually do a few dives, and the UKRS dive programme was born. We're now aproaching our fifth diving season and its grown all out of proportion to our inital expectations, but we like to think that it still mantains that unique character that makes a UKRS trip different than your average dayboat.

Any suitably qualified diver is welcome, we operate as a group and make group decisions, the only organisation is that we use our group buying power to charter an entire boat so that we can decide what we do. Singles, buddy pairs, groups no problem, a UKRS dive is just a group of friends who sort things out amongst themselves on the day, although one of the (experienced) divers will be appointed Dive Marshal to oversee the diving.

If you want to organise a trip, post to the group and see if your idea is popular. Details of any new dives will be discussed on the group before making it onto here. Where a dive is actually being organised it will have a page of its own and there will be a link to that page.

Below are some UKRS dives we are currently talking about doing. The organiser of each dive will normally run a web page, so if there is a link below then the dive is out of the planning stages and the organiser is taking names, so contact them if you're interested in going along.
